This painting is of a favorite color lavender house on Rainbow Row where the art walk does not take place. I didn't take pictures at the art walk but here's where I went. First Cecil Byrne Gallery on E. Bay had a juried show "Bringing Beauty Back" of mostly tourist subject matter, water, marsh, some figures. Demo from I Pad. Jane Hart had a small, unique pastel from her pathways series. They always have Oreo's. Next I went to CAG Gallery to see featured artist Tammy Medlin. So packed you could hardly walk through but that's a good thing. Her large, detailed painting of a carnival really stands out in my memory, will have to take a closer look next time I'm there. I stopped at Robert Lang Gallery to see Karin Jurick's (originator of daily paintings and online selling) paintings of people looking at famous paintings. They were smaller than I thought, but impressive. She does a lot of figures. Then I went to Valentina's Pottery at 50 Queen Street to see Ann Weld's (Urban Sketchers) landscapes. They always have wine and good food amidst colorful pottery. So much more but not wanting to stumble along cobblestone streets in the dark anymore. Queen St., get some streetlights! Next art walk, hopefully a longer review. Always much enjoyed.
